The billies grow wild on the property Dad manages, that we have grown up on. The company is very supportive of our little business and we love being part of the running of the farm.
The billies are grown without watering, sowing or mowing - no carbon input!
Helping not harming!
Billy Buttons are a native plant that has beautiful flower heads. Unfortunately, when the heads mature, they are poisonous to sheep and cattle. By picking the flowers, we reduce the risk to the stock without having to remove the plant from the paddocks.
So cute and everlasting!
Mum plonked these in a vase (without water) twelve months ago! Still going strong!
